Boothtown were on the wrong end of a 9 try whitewash against league leaders Slaithwaite but the score doesn’t tell the full story.
Boothtown made the journey to Huddersfield with only 11 players due to injuries, illness and players unavailable but still made Saracens fight for all their points.
Sterling work in defence from Paul Rawson, Ben Mallas and Jamie Love wasn’t enough but Slaithwaite were grateful that the game was played and Boothtown look forward to next weeks cup match with Halifax Irish.
