An
under strength Terriers
ran out of steam and suffered
a second big defeat on
the trot.
In
an error strewn first
20 mins both sides were
guilty of wasting possession
and Boothtown's only bit
of good play was a drive
from Simon Jevons taken
on by Jamie Love who gave
a lovely slipped pass
to Craig Stewart but the
defence stopped that attack.
After 25 mins Daz Dewhirst
weaved his way through
the defence to open the
scoring and Paul Rawson
converted for a 6-0 lead.
Greetland fought back
and scored two tries from
Rick Haw and Sam Hinsley
and with a Gaz Clay conversion
Greetland lead 6-10. On
the stroke of half time
Ben Mallas slipped a pass
in the tackle and Simon
Farrar sent Dave Love
steaming in and after
Paul Rawson's conversion
Terriers lead 12-10 at
half time.
Greetland
completely ran away with
it in the second half
and scored tries through
Ben Jarvis, Wayne Gibson,
Andy Wickins, Craig Moore
and three from Gaz Clay.
Boothtown's only reply
was a Simon Farrar try
from close in.
