Bazzas
Bollox - Whats the hugely
gunned man got to say
this week.
17th
August 2006:
Welcome
to Bazza's Bollox each
week I will be taking
you through my own personal
thoughts of our weekly
events.
As
its preseason at this
moment in time there
is nothing really to give
my opinion on apart from
the 2 friendley's we've
played already and all
I can say is that you
can tell the lads who
have trained and those
who haven't so instead
of talking about these
games im going to give
you the low down on the
Boothtown players and
committee.
Players
- Trent
Ashton (Prop)
Large
mobile forward
just
coming back to form
after a nasty
leg break
2 seasons ago he
is
awesome near
opponents
try line.
- Andrew
Charlesworth (Full
back/wing) Charlie
may
not
be the youngest
Terrier but he's always
reliable
and ever present
for the club and still
very
young at heart.
- Graham
Charlesworth (Scrumhalf/
standoff)
Chinny is
the Boothtown captain
and
he defiantly leads
with example he's
an
all
round fantastic
player with over 90trys
and
150 goals in the
past 2 season we're
still
waiting for some
one to catch him given
half
a chance.
- Luke
Charlesworth (Wing)
Onion
is one to watch
out for in the future
with
his lighting pace
and great side step
he
might only be young
but he's got the Charlesworth
gene
so he will definitely
mature in to one of
the
best.
- Jason
Dodd (Full back/centre)
Doddy
is one of the
brightest young talents
at
Boothtown he hits
the line with such
fantastic speed and
agility he's definitely
one
of the danger men
to watch out for.
- Ben
Mallas (Centre/second
rower)
Ben is not one
of larger forwards
at Boothown but what
he
lacks in height he
makes up for in
heart
and is always making
text
book tackles.
- Nick
Mallas (Centre/second
rower)
Nick is pretty
much the same as his
brother
Ben he's reliable
never misses a tackle
and
drives the ball
in well if only there
was
another 17Nicks
out there.
- Mark
Wadsworth (Hooker)
Sharky is an ex London
Bronco
academy player
with great hands,
vision
and
strength if only
he was fitter then
maybe he could still
be
pro.
- Simon
Farrer (Scrumhalf/
standoff) Faz is the
smallest
Terrier of
all but yet he play
like
a giant with great
hands and awesome
tackling
he's
an asset to the
club
- Scott
Lindsey (Prop) The
giant forward always
leads
from the front
with incredible drives
and
great off loads
he an every present
player
for the Terriers
and looking fit this
season.
- Paul
Rawson (Prop/ second
rower)
Rosco is now
in his second stint
at
the Terriers the
large mobile go forward
Rosco
is a great new
edition to the club
with
a great kicking
ability an all round
great
forward.
- Darren
Dewhirst (Wing) Daz
is
a player like a fine
wine he just seems
to get better and
fitter
as
time goes by with
great speed and a
fantastic
side
step there is only
one word to describe
him…quality.
- Brian
Jackson (Wing)
After
coming
out of retirement
Jacko
has still got
a
lot to live up. He
still
as lighting pace
and
knows where the
try
line is lets just
