Boothtown were completely outplayed by a youthful Ovenden side and also picked up a few injuries.

Ovenden opened up a 24-0 lead at half time scoring five tries and when Boothtown did cross the line the ref blew for a forward pass.

Nev Graham gave Terriers hope with a try in the first minute of the second half but Ovenden hit back with four more tries to lead 48-10. Two late tries from Dave Love and Trent Ashton were only consolation efforts on a day to forget for Boothtown.
