Boothtown couldn't end their losing run despite an improved display that
kept Dudley Hill scoreless in the second half.
Hill took the lead with a first minute converted try but Terriers leveled
Shortly after with Simon Farrar going in from dummy half and Paul Rawson converted. Hill regained the lead with another converted try but Boothtown came back with a try of their own, after good work from Gareth Cox, Ben Mallas and Adam Berry who all made good ground, Jason Dodd kept the ball alive and sent Paul Rawson over to pull 4 points back. Dudley Hill finished the half on the front foot scoring three further tries to lead 28-10 at half time.
In the second half Boothtown got back in the game with two tries, the
first when Dale Brown sent a pass for Darren Dewhirst to score out wide,
then the livewire Jason Dodd racing clear then beating the fullback and
with Paul Rawson converting from the touchline Boothtown were back in the game at 20-28 with 25 mins to go. Despite dominating the rest of the game Boothtown couldn't score again and Hill ran out winners
