After
a good first half, Boothtown
were completely over-run
in the second
half and got exactly
what they deserved, nothing.
The game had an explosive
start with
an Emley try and a reply
from the Terriers,
with Brian
Jackson scoring in the
corner and
Paul Rawson's touchline
conversion
giving them a 6-4 lead
after only
4 mins.
Emley
took the lead once more
with a try
but two quick tries from
Boothtown restored their
lead, first
man of the match
Paddy Dolan powered over
then from
a penalty Simon Farrar
sent out a long ball
for Paul Rawson to score
in the corner, for Boothtown
to lead 16-10.
Emley reduced
the lead with a try but
Steve Love pounced on
a Scott Lindsey kick
to score and restore
the 6 point
lead. On the stroke
of half time Emley levelled
the scores with a converted
try. In the
second half Boothtown
let Emley
score at will with
6 further tries to run
out easy winners
