Boothtown
once again
came away with another
loss , but
the score had a flattering
look to it
and Boothtown will
get the chance
for revenge
when they play the
reverse fixture at home
next week.
Dearne took an early
lead with a try before
Boothtown scored
two tries to
give them the lead, first
Luke Brown put Paul Kemp
over in the corner then
Steve Love
knocked over the defence
on his way
over the line, Paul
Rawson converted
the latter
for a deserved 4-10
lead.
The
rest of the half
belonged to Dearne with
the ref helping
them to an
18-10 half time lead.
The second
half mirrored the
first with Dearne scoring
early and
Boothtown replying with
two more tries, Simon
Farrar chipped
over the
top
for Jason Dodd to take
the ball
and
outsprint the defence
for a superb try and
Wayne Oakes then powered
over with Paul Rawson
converting both and Boothtown
trailed by
6 points. Dearne then
pulled away to seal
the points but with good
performances from Simon
Jevons and Luke Brown
in attack
and
Paul Rawson and Ben Mallas
in defence, revenge could
be sweet next week. |
